Any chance this big change could be split into several smaller (hopefully self-consistent) changes that could be reviewed separately? Dunno if that's feasible. Would be nice if this took in consideration SNOW-375 for headless operation, as SNOW-375 already provided the means and basic hooks for even remote operation or for more advanced user control.
